A canton of the Barony of North Woods of the Middle Kingdom (Midrealm); a part of the The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). The SCA is an international non-profit volunteer educational organization devoted to the research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat, culture, and employing knowledge of history to enrich the lives of participants through events, demonstrations, and other educational presentations and activities. Our canton encompasses Livingston County, MI centered around Brighton, MI.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Lord Nico of WealdLake the Knowne World Youth Armored Division III Champion!

Lord Nico won the Knowne World Youth Armored Division III tournament at Pennsic War 50 against youth fighters from around the world. We are proud of his achievement and look forward to seeing his future accomplishments!

Crafternoon

Our next Crafternoon is Sunday, February 4, 2024 from Noon to 5pm.
Need a little extra space for your project or sewing advice/lesson? Come join Baroness Aliyah and others from our canton as they host a gathering focused on the Arts and Sciences! We will be making scroll covers. Bring your extra cardboard and fabric (pieces 9 x 12 or bigger.)
We meet at the CoBACH Center, 202 W Main St, Brighton MI.

By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.

THE SCA PROHIBITS HARASSMENT AND BULLYING OF ALL INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS.
Participants engaging in this behavior are subject to appropriate sanctions.
